Here is a superb frame off restoration of the world famous Original British Quad II Amplifiers. Gone is the drab grey & olive color. Replaced with stunning mirror finish to the chassis. The transformer covers have also been refinished in an attractive charcoal black. To finish things off correctly with installed only the finest tubes money could buy. A perfect matched quad of NOS GEC KT-66 Gold Monarchs. A perfect matched quad of NOS Mullard EF-86’s & to just send it over the top a little an NOS perfect matched pair of the ultra rare High Wycombe CV378/GZ-37 tubes These are the famous Barry Falcon of Falcon Audio Quad II amplifiers. The globally renowned Quad guru. Legend has it he built six pairs of these superb amplifiers. I currently have two of the six pairs in my personal collection. I quest the other four pairs to reunite the clan.
